To support a growing pediatric practice, the remote CPC Certified Coding Specialist will blend coding precision with billing strategy to ensure timely claims submission, compliance, and payment while collaborating with providers and operational teams.Key responsibilitiesSubmit clean, timely claims with accurate coding and modifiers while tracking and resolving denials and underpaymentsReview provider documentation to assign accurate codes and educate providers to improve documentation practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain billing rules, track claim trends, and align workflows with payer requirementsRequired qualificationsAAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required3-5 years of experience in physician billing and coding, preferably in pediatricsProficiency with Athena EMR and Microsoft ExcelDeep understanding of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, HEDIS, and Medicaid/commercial payersExperience with telehealth billing and value-based care models is a plus
