Position Description
The Research Multimedia Journalist promotes and advances the TTUHSC brand as a member of the Communications & Marketing team and direct liaison to the Office of Research and Innovation. Reports to the Director of Media Relations. Works collaboratively with these teams to cultivate and produce engaging content that reinforces the institution's vision of creating a healthier future with access to quality care for every Texan. This includes the management and creation of internal and external communications in a variety of mediums and formats to connect with key constituencies across the university, members of the media and the public. This position plays a key role in elevating TTUHSC's research enterprise by creating clear, compelling stories that showcase faculty achievements and institutional impact. The Research Multimedia Journalist develops content for local, regional, national and international audiences to strengthen and expand the TTUHSC brand.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field plus three (3) years related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience equal to seven (7) years.
