The JobChildren and Family Services is recruiting for
Educational Liaisons who function as a liaison between Children and Family Services, schools, foster parents, group homes, and others to ensure the educational needs of foster children are being met, and perform related duties as required.
This list will ONLY be used to fill a vacancy in Victorville and will require traveling to various sites, including intermittent travel to Barstow and Needles. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Travel: Travel throughout the County is required. A valid California Class C Driver License is required to carry out the essential job-related functions of this position. Proof of automobile liability insurance and clean driving record must be maintained.
Sponsorship: San Bernardino County is not able to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future.
Minimum RequirementsEducation: A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or other Education related fields.
-AND-Experience: One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience in the public school system as a professional teacher, professional academic/guidance counselor, or as an educational liaison providing advocacy services and developing educational support plans for foster youth.
Desired QualificationsCandidates who have passed the CBEST and/or possess a teaching credential, and have experience as a teacher in a public school district are highly desirable.
