Fleet Maintenance Program Analyst
Description
Overview The Fleet Maintenance Program Analyst is primarily responsible for the administration, analysis, and evaluation of fleet repair and maintenance program procedures. The role manages the Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program for light vehicles and heavy equipment. This position develops improvements to processes, procedures, and reporting that support the daily operation and use of the Fleet Maintenance Information System. The analyst also performs data analysis for Fleet Operations in the areas of work order processing, parts inventory, fuel management, and supply and service contracts.
Responsibilities • Manages the Preventative Maintenance for all vehicles and equipment for the City of Corpus Christi (except Fire Department)
• Ensures adherence to the maintenance schedule through coordination with repair shop foremen and City Departments
• Utilizes Fleet Management System to update maintenance schedules
• Develops quality objectives, including metrics for evaluation of maintenance and repair shop performance
• Provides weekly updates to Director and Assistant Director on labor hours and equipment status
• Provides data relevant to performance by sections and personnel for evaluation at higher echelons
• Creates custom reports from the collected Fleet Maintenance Information Systems
• Proficient in the use of FleetFocus M5 for parts inventory management, work order management, fuel management and asset (vehicle/equipment) management
• Responds to ad hoc requests for information by management concerning all aspects of labor, material, and equipment management
• Provides recommendation in the enhancement and maintenance of standard operating procedures as it pertains to the use of FleetFocus M5
• Works with supervisors and management to enhance employee proficiency with the Fleet Maintenance Management System and to streamline processes to increase productivity within the system and the organization
• Serves as the Fleet Information Technology point of contact, monitors and maintains Fleet computer systems/network, registers/grants access to M5, liaises with City IT and vendors on behalf of Fleet employees to resolve issues
• Monitors Fleet computer life cycle replacement, evaluates and recommends contract bids for electronic component parts, supply, service and software to include contract values and scopes of work, procures related goods and services
• Performs General Ledger billing for Finance, creates summary report developed from M5 billing processes, exported to a data file, used by Finance to bill Departments for fuel, non-centralized repairs, parts, and labor not accounted for through allocations
Position Type and Typical Hours of Work • Exempt - Full-Time - Monday - Friday / 8:00am-5:00pm
• Must be available to work additional hours as needed
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is a schedule requirement
• In the event of an emergency, employees are required to work to provide for the safety and well-being of the public, including the delivery and restoration of vital services

Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)
• Three (3) years of experience
Licenses and Certifications Required • A valid driver's license is required; successful out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hiring

Basis of Rating A recruitment consultant will evaluate all applications against the posted qualifications. The city may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview
