ABOUT THE POSITION

The Clark County Information Technology Department is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Principal Management Analyst position, working in the Technical Services division. Join our dynamic team and take on the crucial role of leading and overseeing enterprise infrastructure, network, and desktop programs and project management. This position will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating complex IT programs and projects, processes, and initiatives. As a member of our team, you will contribute to improving organizational performance, ensuring effective resource allocation, and facilitating data-driven decision-making. In addition, you will collaborate closely with IT leaders, contract project managers, and cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes and support the County's strategic objectives.

This examination will establish an Open Competitive Eligibility list to fill current and/or future vacancies that may occur within the next six (6) months or may be extended as needed by Human Resources.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience: Master's Degree in Business or Public Administration or a related field, AND two (2) years of full-time professional experience in performing administrative, budgetary, operational or similar analyses and studies. Experience in a public agency setting and project or programmatic supervisory experience are desirable. A Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of additional related experience maybe substituted for Master's Degree.

Working Conditions: Attend meetings outside of normal working hours.

Licensing and Certification: Specified positions may require possession of a valid Nevada Class C driver's license at time of appointment.

Background Investigation: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation. Periodically after employment background investigations may be conducted.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Mobility to work in a typical office setting, use standard office equipment, and be capable of traveling to off-site County locations in order to attend meetings and visit various work sites; specified positions may be required to drive a County or personnel vehicle to various work sites; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone.
