Woodland Community College is actively searching for a diverse pool of highly qualified candidates to fill part-time faculty (Adjunct) teaching positions. These opportunities are available on an ongoing basis to meet the evolving needs of the college. The adjunct pools remain open year-round and are routinely refreshed every two years to ensure an updated and dynamic group of potential educators.

BASIC FUNCTION : Essential Duties Summary REQUIRED DUTIES : Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students. Required Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
The successful candidate must possess the minimum qualifications stated below: Equivalency Requirement: All applicants are required to meet the minimum qualifications specified by the Yuba Community College District ( YCCD ) by the application filing date. Alternatively, applicants must have obtained an equivalency determination from the District before the publication of the Recruitment Announcement. This ensures that candidates either meet the standard qualifications or have received official recognition of their equivalent qualifications.

Foreign Transcripts: If you possess foreign transcripts, please note that they must undergo a U.S. evaluation and translation. Contact the Office of People & Culture (HR) through their website to access a list of agencies that provide services for evaluating and translating foreign transcripts. This step is crucial to ensure that your educational background is accurately assessed and understood in the context of U.S. educational standards and requirements. Desired/Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands Range/Step Step 1 - Step 7 (Based on Degree and Teaching Experience) Salary Range $53.28 - $88.75/Lecture Rate Per Hour Benefits Information PART - TIME (less than .60 FTE ): Part-time positions less than .60 FTE are not entitled to any District paid fringe benefits.
