Description

This position is categorically funded - position is contingent upon continued funding and Board approval.

Yuba College is seeking an equity-minded, dynamic, collaborative, and innovative employee to serve as the Campus Life Technician.

BASIC FUNCTION :
Under the direction of an administrator or designee, coordinate college student activities including scheduling and facilitation of student events and direct interaction with student groups and clubs to include fiscal support; coordinate student government elections; assist with commencement ceremonies and annual awards events. Required Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : Any combination equivalent to: Associates degree in psychology, sociology, recreation administration, or a related field and two years of experience in a community agency, college, student activities, or residential life that initiates and administers student related or community services. Desired/Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS :
Valid drivers’ license, Class C, and a clean DMV record

ENVIRONMENT :
Typical office environment
Driving a vehicle to conduct work evening or variable hours

PHYSICAL ABILITIES :
Communicating to exchange information.
Reading various materials.
Operate a computer keyboard.
Sitting for extended periods of time.
Bending at the waist, kneeling or crouching.
Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling heavy objects. Range/Step Range 27, CSEA Salary Schedule Salary Range $24.04 - $33.89 / Per Hour (Steps 1 -11) Placement will be based on both the candidate's years of related experience to the position and educational qualifications.
