Job Description:

Facility Service Specialist

Purpose:

This position is responsible for providing maintenance and repairs to assigned buildings, including coordination of internal maintenance personnel or contractor vendors.

Salary Range: $31.39 - $39.24

Location: Palmer Events Center

Days and Hours: Hours may vary based on operational needs. Alternative schedules and remote work options are available; however, the position requires at least 40% in-office each week. A flexible hybrid schedule may be offered after successful completion of the probationary period.

Driving Requirement:

This position requires a Type C or the ability to acquire one by your hire date. External New Hires must meet the City of Austin's Driver Record Evaluation (DRE) requisite . To be considered for a driving position, applicants cannot have more than three moving violations or a total of six Driver Record Evaluation points within a period of thirty-six (36) months.
