LITIGATION SPECIALIST

Yavapai County is seeking a Litigation Specialist for the County Attorney's Office at the Camp Verde location. This position is assigned to the Audio Video Redaction Team and plays a key role in preparing sensitive multimedia evidence for legal proceedings. This position is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and redacting audio and video files to ensure compliance with privacy laws, court rules, and agency policies. The Litigation Specialist evaluates content for protected or confidential information, applies precise redactions using specialized software, and maintains meticulous documentation to support evidentiary integrity. Collaboration with attorneys is essential to clarify redaction requirements, meet strict deadlines, and ensure that all produced media is accurate and complete.

Major Duties, Responsibilities



Minimum Qualifications

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years of general office, legal secretary and/or administrative support experience; or two (2) years education in secretary/administration support studies including paralegal or criminal justice.

Additional Requirements:

Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Capable of frequent repetitive movement of arms, fingers, and wrists. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
