This position is an MPP Level III in the California State University Management Personnel Plan (MPP), reporting to the Vice Provost of Academic Planning and Dean of Undergraduate Education.

Anticipated Hiring Range

$13,334.00 - $14,167.00 Per Month ($160,008.00 - $170,004.00 Annually)

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Position Summary

The Associate Dean of Academic Planning reports to the Vice Provost of Academic Planning and Dean of Undergraduate Education and coordinates division functions related to curriculum, program review and accreditation, assessment, General Education and the Experimental College.

The associate dean is part of the senior leadership team in the Division of Undergraduate Education and Academic Planning and works with the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education and the Vice Provost of Academic Planning and Dean of Undergraduate Education on DUEAP initiatives and university priorities.

Working closely with the Academic Senate and subcommittees, the Associate Deans of the colleges, and colleagues within the Division of Undergraduate Education and Academic Planning (in particular, the Academic Planning staff, the General Education Faculty Director, and the Experimental College Faculty Director), the Associate Dean advances standards of coherence and quality throughout the academic curriculum/programs.
