Position DescriptionUnder the direction of the Sr. Managing Director, HR Systems & Strategic Operations, this temporary role in the Division of Human Resources, Classification & Compensation is a training-focused position responsible for delivering comprehensive training on compensation philosophy, job evaluation methodologies, and classification best practices. This team member will serve as the subject matter expert, providing guidance to ensure the successful integration of newly acquired knowledge and skills.
Major/Essential Functions- Serve as the subject matter expert for all classification and compensation projects.
- Provide education and guidance on the compensation philosophy aligned with institutional goals, market competitiveness, and internal equity.
- Mentor Compensation Analyst in conducting job evaluations and intrepreting compensation data.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a closely related field.
- Current Certification as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
- Ten (10) years of progressive experience in compensation and classification, with a strong focus on training and employee education.
- Eight (8) years working in a Human Resources department in a compensation and/or classification-focused professional (FLSA exempt) position.
