Payrate: $53.92/hour
Additional Information: This is a
TEMPORARY position for a staff member out on a leave of absence. The approximate dates are October 20, 2025 - January 19, 2026.
This position performs a variety of warehousing functions which includes receiving, material handling, order filling, delivery, and mail/audiovisual distributing.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS1. Receives and stores merchandise in assigned locations and enters data by computer.
2. Fills store withdrawals and inventory requests, using a computer.
3. Prepares and packages warehouse supplies for shipping.
4. Assists in the annual storeroom inventory.
5. Drives delivery truck and mail truck; transports and delivers items as directed; accounts for assigned items using delivery documents.
OTHER JOB DUTIES1.Maintains a clean and orderly work and storage area to contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.
2.Performs related duties as assigned.
3.Regular, reliable, predictable attendance or physical presence is an essential job requirement and critical to the performance of the work.
CONDITIONSRequired to move heavy objects; may be required to lift and carry up to 70 pounds, bend, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, walk, twist, climb, and/or be mobile; may travel to various district locations.
Education and ExperienceHigh school graduation or equivalent and general warehousing experience; or any combination of experience and training which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and ability required to perform the work.
Licenses/Special Requirements
Valid Washington State driver’s license.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of warehouse storage techniques.
Ability to operate a forklift and delivery trucks.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds using proper equipment and safety precautions.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of people in a multi-cultural, diverse socio-economic setting.
