This position leads Austin Energy’s Geospatial Information System (GIS) team in maintaining the geographic electrical model that supports critical operational systems and decision-making. The supervisor ensures data accuracy, fosters team performance, and coordinates efforts to model both existing and proposed infrastructure, enabling safe and efficient service delivery.

Job Description:

Electric Power Grid (EPG) Geospatial Information System (GIS) Supervisor

Purpose:

Under general supervision, performs first-line leadership to various employees including contractor personnel in the construction and maintenance of infrastructure and tracking of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) within the Austin Energy electric service delivery area.

Days and Hours:

Monday through Friday. 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
40 Hour Work Week (Hybrid Available)

Salary (Effective 09/21/25):

$43.02 - $55.07/hr., depending on qualifications and experience.
