Pay Range: $30.850 - $34.65/hr.

Workdays & Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm; Some evening/weekend work required. This is an in-person position with the ability to work a hybrid schedule following the successful completion of the probationary period.

The City of Fort Worth is seeking a dynamic Community Engagement Liaison to develop, implement, and promote public education programs that engage and support our community. You will coordinate community involvement, create educational materials, manage marketing efforts, and represent the city at public events. This role requires strong communication skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Education, Public Administration, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or Social Sciences
- Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in education, communications, public relations, or marketing
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience coordinating volunteers and external partners.
- Experience working in public education or community outreach programs.
- Strong background in marketing, public relations, or communications within a government or nonprofit setting.
The Community Engagement Liaison job responsibilities include: - Assist in planning, monitoring, and evaluating public education programs and services.
- Develop and distribute marketing materials such as press releases, newsletters, flyers, brochures, and social media content.
- Plan and deliver educational classes, workshops, and presentations to diverse audiences.
- Maintain and manage databases for mailing lists and community outreach.
- Represent the City at community meetings, civic organizations, and public events.
- Conduct surveys and research to assess program effectiveness and gather participant feedback.
- Coordinate resources, materials, and facilities for program activities and events.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and volunteers to support program goals.

Medium work - Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects.
