LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE

Northwest Community Services (NWCS) is accepting applications and looking to fill an LPN position to work in the Marshall/ Slater, MO area. This position performs a variety of practical nursing duties to people with developmental disabilities, as well as other mental health issues within a home setting. Possession of a current license to practice as a practical nurse in Missouri and a valid driver's license is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $2,539.63 Semi-Monthly

This is a licensed practical nurse (LPN) position accountable for administering medication and other prescribed treatments; taking vital signs; assisting with care plan activities; observing and reporting patient conditions and behaviors; and participating in rehabilitation, ambulation, and transfers. LPN’s oversee the work of support care assistants; communicate with doctors, patients, and families; and educate patients on care. May transport clients to offsite appointments and apply restraints when necessary.

Applicants must be 18 years old, possess of a current license to practice as a practical nurse in Missouri, have a valid MO driver's license, provide high school diploma or GED and pass an extensive criminal background check.
