Position DescriptionPerforms responsible and complex duties associated with a specialized function of a section of clerical employees in a correctional institution. Work is performed in a medical clinic setting in a correctional facility and may require a high degree of contact with patients, facility staff, and other partners.
Major/Essential Functions- Assist with Telehealth presenting.
- Ensure continuity of care for specialty telehealth clinics.
- Coordinate clinic operations
- Patient throughput management.
- Process provider notes for accurate and complete information
- Manage reminders in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Take vital signs
- Respond to all requests in a timely manner as required and necessary for effective communication
- Support the goal of the unit by attending meetings.
- Effectively participate in the overall goals of the Managed Care team.
- Other duties as assigned.

HERERequired QualificationsEducation: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Three years progressively responsible clerical experience. Additional education and/or related experience to equal three years may substitute on a year for year basis.
