This position will domicile at the MVE Building at 1717 Industrial Drive in Jefferson City.

The position will serve as a Reentry Coordinator and provide guidance for the Missouri Department of Corrections regarding Reentry Services. The position will engage with representatives from partnering state departments, reentry providers, and local community stakeholders state-wide. The position will largely be responsible for processing of source documents including but not limited to Birth Certificates and Social Security Cards. There will also be some work with state and federal benefit processes i.e. Medicaid, SNAP, and Social Security Disability. Through this role you will play an essential function through assisting individuals with reintegration and the reduction of barriers, as well as enhancing public safety in the state of Missouri. Daily work schedule will range from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. There may be some occasional travel as well as on rare occasion some evening and weekend work. This is not a remote position.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following: developing and monitoring service delivery, conducting training programs and providing assistance to facilities and agencies in identifying and overcoming barriers to identification obtainment and service/program enrollment.

Minimum Qualifications:

This position requires three or more years of experience with the Missouri Department of Corrections or another correctional agency. Experience with the Missouri workforce systems, social services and community partnerships may be substituted for correctional experience.

(Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university may substitute on a year-to-year basis for the required experience at a rate of 30 credit hours for one year)
