Major/Essential FunctionsPrimary responsibilities for this position include accurate processing of time-sensitive employment records. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to effectively multitask with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Serves as HR approver and applier for personnel records (ePAF process) and ensures payroll schedules are met for maximum efficiency. This involves HR data entry, data processing, and data analysis, which requires in-depth knowledge of HR systems, policies, and processes.
- Analyzes HSC payroll errors for each payroll period by researching to identify the cause and providing actions for resolution.
- Primary processor for state reporting processes and error correction for personnel records.
- Reviews and processes personnel records and reports to ensure employee records are complete for all new hires.
- Participates in record audits and resolves data discrepancies within multiple systems.
- Processes initial deduction setup for new hires, including W-4 elections and IRS lock-in letters.
- Identifies issues, analyzes, and implements effective solutions based on knowledge of TTUHSC and State of Texas policies and procedures.
- Assists with documentation and streamlining of HR business processes for HSC HR SSO - Benefits/Records.
Required QualificationsA Bachelor's degree plus one (1) years of experience OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal five (5) years.
