The City of Fort Worth’s Transportation and Public Works Department is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Street Field Operations Supervisor to join our Street Operations Division, specifically within the South Asphalt section.

This leadership role requires extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in asphalt street maintenance. The successful candidate will supervise and participate in a wide range of street repair and preservation activities, including but not limited to:

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of asphalt roadway deficiencies and deterioration, as well as proven strategies for effective repair and long-term preservation. Familiarity with Fort Worth's Street network and common maintenance challenges is highly preferred.

This position requires working four ten-hour shifts Tuesday through Friday and additional time needed to assist with emergencies or maintenance needs which may include working in diverse weather conditions.

Working Conditions

Incumbents may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, odors, dusts, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting and intense noises.
