Pay Range: $64,059 - 80,074/annually

The Library is seeking to hire an experienced and innovative Public Education Specialists to oversee STEAM and maker programming at the Vivian J Lincoln Library. The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive knowledge of learning theory and a passion for experiential learning. They will be customer-focused, creative, and enthusiastic. They will also be engaging public speakers, comfortable with technology, possess excellent time management and communication skills, and enjoy working with library customers of all ages, backgrounds, dispositions, and abilities.

The purpose of this position is to oversee the daily operations and educational programming of the creative lab/makerspace within a community branch library. The successful candidate will enjoy serving the public one-to-one, in a group setting, or across a customer service desk and have a work history that includes experience working with youth (preschool through high school) and adult learners.
