Description

Job Location: This position will be located at 1706 E Elm Street Jefferson City, MO 65109. Department of Mental Health Roberts Building.

The Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DD) seeks to hire an Administrative Support Professional. This is a Central Office position which will be domiciled in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Job duties:

This position will provide advanced technical and administrative support to the various activities and functions of Fiscal Operations within the Division of Developmental Disabilities. Responsibilities include:

•Processing payments in SAMII, Missouri BUYS and the Division’s Customer Information Management, Outcomes & Reporting System (CIMOR)

•Assist in the testing and implementation of MOVERS financial

•Monitoring invoice email submissions

•Serve as point of contact for telecommunications and IT issues

•Track requests for allocations from Division Safety Training Fund

•Assist with vendor setup and payment issues

•Serve as Records Retention Coordinator for Division

•Generate quarterly and monthly reports and enter related payments

•Other duties as assigned.

Required skills:

•High levels of motivation, initiative, and resourcefulness. Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.

•Time management skills - Ability to work independently, setting priorities, managing workloads, proven ability to meet deadlines.

•Organizational skills - Excellent organization and attention to detail, ability to assist distributed team members in person or virtually who are regionally-based throughout the state and working flexible schedules.

•Technology skills - Strong knowledge of data management, support service functions, and recordkeeping systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new or updated software.

•Knowledge of the principles and practices of office management and a variety of support service functions

•Ability to move light objects weighing less than 30 lbs. short distances.

Eligibility:

2-5 years relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
