Description

Working with the Division of Youth Services is more than it seems. This is a first-level Medicaid eligibility specialist position in support of youth in the care of the Missouri Division of Youth Services located in Jefferson City. The following tasks are the responsibility of the Associate Research/Data Analyst:



Knowledge, skills & abilities

In addition to those identified in the previous level: Knowledge of basic research methods and analysis, computer information systems, and statistical software. Ability to problem solve. Ability to perform basic queries and analysis of data. Extremely high attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Excel. Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. Ability to multi-task and manage priorities. Self-starter who takes ownership of responsibilities and has the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience and/or appropriate certification. (Additional qualifying experience may substitute for a year-for-year basis for the required deficiencies in the required education.)

Preferred Qualifications: Current or previous Department of Social Services employee with Medicaid eligibility experience and/or a working knowledge of the eligibility production system.

Salary:

$45,184-$55,735 per Year
