POSITION

Under immediate supervision, performs administrative, financial, statistical, and other management analyses supporting department/division activities and functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree from a four-year accredited college and university AND two (2) years progressively responsible experience in finance/grant/legislative research and analysis producing informational reports or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS



THE EXAMINATION PROCESS begins with a complete review of all applications and resumes submitted for consideration. Only applicants determined to be "most qualified," as reflected by their application materials, will be invited to participate in the examination for this recruitment. The examination process may consist of one or more of the following test parts: (1) Writing Exercise, (2) Academic Training & Experience Evaluation, or (3) Qualifications Appraisal Interview. Candidates must pass each test part with a 70% score or higher to have their name placed on the active eligibility list for this position.

The top three ranking individuals shall be invited to a Background Investigation Interview, a comprehensive police investigation that may include a credit review, polygraph, character reference check, and a psychological and physical medical examination .

A selection will be made from candidates in the top three rankings of the eligibility list that pass the Police Background process and who are ready, willing, and able to accept the position. Eligible candidates who are not selected, their names will be returned to the eligibility list for future consideration with other departments within the City when feasible.
