Position DescriptionPerforms supervisory and coordinative work in the operation of a specific program or departmental project. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and student assistants.
Major/Essential FunctionsThe School of Health Professions' Department of Clinical Counseling and Mental Health is currently seeking an organized and proactive Coordinator to join our team. You will work directly with faculty and staff to ensure all tasks are efficiently and effectively implemented. This team member will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Provide support and guidance to students.
- Track enrollment and tuition payments.
- Assist with student admissions processes.
- Maintain academic program files.
- Maintain administrative program files.
- Assist with the student registration process for program.
- Assist with accreditation process for programs, including application, annual reporting, and data collection and entry.
- Coordinate the student course enrollment.
- Answer phones, take messages, and transfer calls.
- File and maintain all program and departmental official documents from accrediting and authorizing entities.
- Distribution of departmental announcements to students.
- Administer contract agreements for the Department of Clinical Counseling and Mental Health.
- Coordinate the department's calendar.
- Purchase items for the department.
- Coordinate and organize all department committee meetings.
- Assist the Business Coordinator as needed.

Required QualificationsHigh school graduation plus five (5) years progressively responsible related experience; additional related education may exchange for required experience on a year for year basis.
