The Server Engineer is responsible for managing and maintaining Denton County’s server and storage infrastructure, including virtualized environments, enterprise applications, and backup systems. This position ensures high availability, performance, and security of county systems through proactive monitoring, patching, troubleshooting, and capacity planning. The Server Engineer plays a key role in protecting data integrity, supporting CJIS, HIPAA, and other regulatory compliance requirements, and contributing to disaster recovery efforts. Success in this role requires strong technical skills, excellent customer service, timely problem resolution, and effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.

Family Medical Leave:Denton Countyemployees who have been employed for one year and who have worked 1250 hours in the preceding year may be eligible for up to twelve weeks of FMLA leave.
