What you’ll do: This is a first-level position assisting the Chief Nurse Executive in the ongoing development of the Nursing program. This position will be responsible for analyzing and reviewing efficiency of workflows and processes, and making recommendations for changes or improvements. This position will also supervise the Nursing Scheduling team and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
Knowledge, skills & abilities:• Comprehensive knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of business math computations, grammar, composition, and spelling.
• Intermediate knowledge of computer information systems and software.
• Introductory knowledge of the principles of office management and supervision.
• Ability to apply and interpret agency policies and procedures.
• Ability to develop and use filing systems.
• Ability to review documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the public.
• Ability to make complex computations.
• Ability to assign, review and evaluate the work of staff.
• Ability to complete assignments accurately within specified timeframes.
• Ability to train and mentor staff.
• Ability to develop and implement procedures from general instructions.
• Ability to analyze and review workflows processes and prepare findings to make recommendations.
Experience and Educations Requirements: • 0-2 years of relevant experience (Substitutions may be allowed)
• Bachelor’s Degree
