Anticipated Hiring Range

$6,250.00 - $7,084 Per Month ($75,000 - $85,008 Annually)

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Position Summary

The Title IX & DHR Case and Hearing Coordinator (Case Coordinator) will serve a critical support role within the Equity programs and Compliance office (EPC). This role reports directly to the Assistant Vice President for Title IX and DHR (AVP). The Case Coordinator will serve as a primary point of contact for individuals reporting misconduct to EPC and will assist those individuals in connection with support systems within the university and local community. The incumbent for this role must be able to interact with individuals who have suffered difficult and traumatic experience with empathy and a human-centered approach.

The Case Coordinator will be responsible for managing their own caseload for issues concerning Pregnancy and related conditions, as well as any hearings required for EPC-managed resolutions. The incumbent must be comfortable working independently and with minimal oversight.

The Case Coordinator will also be responsible for assisting EPC staff in creating and maintaining accurate and complete documentation of all reports, support services, and resolutions provided by the office in its database. The incumbent must, therefore, be detail-oriented, comfortable managing data entry, and understand the critical nature of maintaining accurate records in a legal compliance setting.

The Incumbent keeps the AVP informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, and implications of work performed. The incumbent must be able to handle highly sensitive and potentially political matters with tact and discretion, maintaining confidentiality as appropriate. The Incumbent is expected to recommend and implement continuous quality improvement in unit operations.

Special Working Conditions: Incumbent must be able to competently interact with a culturally and ethnically diverse population of students, faculty and staff. Incumbent will interact regularly with campus partners, including the Dean of Students Division, Labor Relations & Employee Development, and Student Affairs & Enrollment Management staff.
