The Position

 

This position is exempt from Civil Service and is an "At Will" position. It serves at the discretion of the hiring authority, subject to City of Portland Human Resources Administrative Rules and Portland City Charter and Code.

 

Job Appointment: Full time, At-Will

 

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Work hours will include evenings and weekends as needed.

 

Work Location: In-person. Position will report to City Hall, 1221 SW 4th Ave, Portland, OR 97204.

About the Position:

 

The Council Liaison serves as a vital connection between the Mayor's Office and the City Council, including the various Council Committees. This role will represent the Mayor in interactions with Council members and committees, advancing the Mayor's policy priorities and ensuring consistent, informed communication between branches.
