Program Coordinator - OOC Early Intervention
Description
Job Location: This position will be located at 205 Jefferson St., Jefferson City, MO 65101.

- Supervise regional Early Intervention staff.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of guidance and procedure manuals.
- Responsible for program improvement initiatives, to include but not limited to, Provider Survey, Family Survey, Needs Assessment, Early Intervention teams, and Early Childhood Outcomes.
- Responsible for creation of annual Year at a Glance report.
- Plan and coordinate quarterly System Point of Entry (SPOE) meetings.
- Plan and coordinate quarterly stakeholder meetings.
- Review, approve, and track trends of billing issues, fund recoveries, and adjustments.
- Coordinate with Early Intervention compliance unit regarding materials that impact provider and SPOE compliance.
- Manage Early Intervention webpage content and updates needed.
- Assist with the development and dissemination of the monthly Early Intervention section newsletter.
- Assist with the preparation and review of the state and federal reports, including the Annual Performance Report (APR) and State Systemic Improvement Plan (SSIP).
- Demonstrate knowledge of state and federal legislation and regulations governing parent education programs, including Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
- Participate in Early Childhood State Advisory Council meetings as requested.
- Assist the Program Manager with managing state contracts to ensure regional services are provided.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrate regular, reliable, and engaged attendance.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in education, special education, early childhood education, child development, social/human services, human development and family studies, or other related field from an accredited four-year college or university with one or more years of work in the field of special education, early childhood education, child development, social/human services, human development and family studies, or a related field.
OR - Five or more years of work or technical experience in the field of special education, early childhood education, child development, social/human services, human development and family studies, or a related field.
