** Successful candidates in these temporary appointments may be appointed from a few days up to one year depending on the assignment. Temporary appointments must end on or before the end of the fiscal year, with the possibility of renewal if funds and/or program needs exist.

Classification Title: Student Service Professional IV

Classification Salary Range: $6,320 - $9,014 per month .

The anticipated hiring salary for this position is $6,320 per month.

The final salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience.

About the Department/Position:

Under the general direction of the Associate Director of Toro CARE, the Housing Stability Coordinator provides critical and complex support to the department, with specific attention to assisting students experiencing housing crises. This role will coordinate the CSUDH Rapid Re-Housing program and Housing Stability Programs, including short-term housing support and affordability projects. Responsibilities include case management, assessing student needs, and connecting them with university and community resources. The incumbent will use standardized intake assessments and case management tools, adhere to processes and procedures of the program, establish and maintain relationships with our community-based organization partner, and utilize a demonstrated level of expertise in housing resources available in Los Angeles County. The Housing Stability Coordinator works collaboratively with on- and off-campus partners, navigating complex university systems and processes to resolve student crises with professionalism and sensitivity.

The Housing Stability Coordinator will be responsible for communicating the program to internal and external partners, creation and implementation of an evaluation and assessment plan for the program, effective response to the evaluation and assessment results, and on-going identification of potential community housing partners. This role requires a high level of professionalism, tact, autonomous sound and creative decision making to meet the program deliverables.
