ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Clark County Water Reclamation District is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Technical Training Specialist position. This position will be primarily responsible for:
- Researching and developing training materials for specialized, industrial training coursework.
- Working with various Service Sections to develop a comprehensive training program to the needs of the organization. This includes a needs assessment, curriculum development to support the development goals for the organization.
- Providing information for engaging professional industrial training opportunities and arranging for outside vendors to provide the training in meeting career and professional development goals of employees and management.
- Preparing and conducting in-house training classes, including scheduling of facilities and coordinating with other resources in providing appropriate educational opportunities in the wastewater industry. This includes preparing employees for professional certification testing.
- Conducting needs assessment for future internal industrial training programs and educational classes as needed. Provides reports on findings as a result of the needs assessment activities.
- Developing training and presentation materials, tests and other various methodologies of providing training of employees in an industrial setting.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation and Experience:- Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, sociology, human resources, business administration, public administration, or a field related to the area of assignment.
- Four years of full-time professional experience in the development, evaluation and presentation of training or training programs
- Equivalent combination of formal education and appropriate related experience may be considered.

Do not substitute a resume for your application or write "see attached resume" on your application. Licenses/Certifications:- Possess a valid Nevada Class [C] driver's license at time of appointment.
