SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Assistant City Manager of Development & Municipal Service, the Director of Municipal Utilities performs administrative and professional work in directing the activities of the Municipal Utilities Department. Work involves responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating of operations for the City’s wastewater, and drainage infrastructure.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business, Environmental Management or a closely related field; AND five years’ experience in municipal utility operations OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION:


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment with some exposure to an outdoor work environment. May have some exposure to hazardous chemicals and infectious diseases.
