Position Overview
Austin Water is seeking a Scheduler Analyst for the Pipeline Engineering and Operations Support Division ( PEOS ). This position will perform a combination of office and field tasks, and will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including coordinating and communicating design, construction, operations and maintenance activities for Austin Water’s wastewater collection system. The successful candidate will help PEOS track SSO causes and resolutions. The successful candidate will also take part in AW’s SSO response on-call rotation which will require work outside of normal business hours.”

Pay Range
$35.50- $45.27

Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. , with some flexibility and rotation on call.

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities
Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.

Coordinates and schedules field construction and maintenance projects. Coordinates and reviews construction- or engineering-related contracts and contract documents. Measures work performances against engineering work standards to develop, maintain, and improve City of Austin design and construction standards. Tracks status of projects, and reports to management. Plans projects by determining crew size and composition, work hour requirements, and equipment requirements. Prepares work order schedules, control records, and post schedules. Communicates project and/or program information to internal and external customers. Ensures compliance with City and other regulatory agency requirements and policies. Meets with project managers, engineers, and contractors to discuss designs.
