OverviewJoin the Larimer County Department of Health & Environment (LCDHE) as the Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the Public Health Director. This is a trusted role at the center of LCDHE operations and leadership.
Beyond administrative duties, this position requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment. An essential responsibility is coordinating and facilitating communication for the Board of Health and Leadership Team meetings. The role involves handling highly sensitive information on a routine basis, often with early insight into confidential matters. The ability to uphold strict confidentiality and respond to inquiries with thoughtfulness and discretion is essential.

- Providing executive-level support to the Public Health Director
- Managing all logistics for the Board of Health, including meetings, materials, minutes, resolutions, and adherence to Open Meetings requirements
- Attend Board of Health and other meetings as requested, take minutes, and track motions and action items
- Coordinating Board of Health dinners and special events
- Managing the Director’s calendar and supporting scheduling across the leadership team
- Supporting the leadership team with organization, coordination, and meeting preparation
- Handling travel arrangements, basic budgeting, and accounting tasks
- Ensure the Public Health Director sees and acts on high-priority communications
- Staying on top of timelines and ensuring deadlines are met

- Five (5) years of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities required.
