Job Location: This position will be located at 930 Wildwood Drive, Jefferson City, MO 65109.

Position will expose you to various components of the division and department operations as well as give you the opportunity to supervise and mold staff for potential growth.

• Assist Programs with purchasing and timekeeping issues
• Process purchase/payment documents
• Maintain and update procurement tracking systems based on program request.
• Assist programs with developing and processing contract requests
• Set staff priorities for processing purchase/payment documents in supervisor's absence
• Reconcile expenditure tracking database in supervisor's absence
• Review and approve in SAMII and Missouri Buys in supervisor's absence
• Assist in training new hires
• Complete special projects as needed, including researching and mitigating processing issues as they arise.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Familiarity with SAMII, Missouri Buys, Excel, and Access.
• Self-starter with strong ability to work independently
• Customer service oriented with ability to effectively troubleshoot issues in a timely manner and in accordance with department policy
• Ability communicate effectively
• Ability to organize and prioritize duties
• 3-5 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
