Position Description
A job involving an appointment for infrequent temporary work where the employee is called in as needed.

Major/Essential Functions

• Receives, interprets, enters into computer, and prepares prescription orders for checking by the pharmacists.
• Supports pharmacy quality assurance program.
• Triage department information inquiries (answering telephones).
• Maintains confidential records and files.
• Performs other duties of a certified technician.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; must be registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
