This position is for an application development team member who will perform analysis, design, development, coding, testing, and maintenance of the Missouri Automated Child Support System (MACSS) application using Cool:Gen (mainframe), C#, SQL Server, DB2, and Razor pages. Personal interactions other development team members and business owners are required, as is research and troubleshooting of simple to complex problems. The successful candidate for this position should have software development training and a programming background. We are looking for self-motivated candidates with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and programming languages. Candidate should be effective working collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently as circumstances dictate.

This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting the Department of Social Services (DSS).

Knowledge of the core programming language used in the assigned area. Knowledge of computer logic statements and their applications. Ability to learn and apply concepts. Ability to perform basic mathematics. Ability to provide logical and innovative ideas, and think critically to resolve issues. Ability to communicate with staff, management, and agency personnel.
