Larimer County Department of Health and Environment (LCDHE) is hiring 2 Communicable Disease Epidemiologists to join our team and drive public health initiatives that protect and enhance our community's well-being.

We are seeking to fill two Communicable Disease Epidemiologist positions within our team. These roles are essential in supporting the surveillance, investigation, and control of communicable diseases in our community.
We are looking for collaborative team members with a strong foundation and knowledge in infectious disease and data analytics.
These roles will serve as an epidemiological and technical resource working with internal and community partners to prevent and control disease in Larimer County. This includes conducting communicable disease investigations, enhancing disease surveillance, and educating the public and key stakeholders on various communicable diseases and responses. Additional activities include preparing and developing statistical reports and analyses. These are partially grant funded position through the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) grant.

The typical work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement, with a minimum of two in-person days per week. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required during public health emergencies or urgent response situations.
