Our team focuses on processing motor fuel tax refund claims and documents in a timely manner. We are team oriented, goal driven, and value strong communication and typing skills, as well as problem solving experience. You will work in a friendly environment with a full-time weekday only work schedule with the possibility of becoming a permanent employee

DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

• Review motor fuel tax refund claims to ensure necessary information is included
• Complete data entry tasks to input refund claim figures and taxpayer information
• Research and error correct motor fuel tax returns to ensure timely processing
• Correspond with both internal and external customers via phone and email correspondence
• Open and sort mail received within the excise tax area
• File and rename file folders and box and label files for archive

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• Proficient typing and computer skills
