Butte College is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Dean of Kinesiology and Athletics, who will also hold the role of Athletic Director. Under the direction of the Vice President for Instruction, this position provides strategic leadership for the college’s kinesiology and athletics programs, overseeing academic offerings, faculty, and staff, while ensuring compliance with athletic regulations and student success initiatives.

The Dean will manage intercollegiate sports, athletic facilities, budgets, fundraising, and community partnerships to promote excellence in student athletics. This role requires a collaborative leader committed to fostering academic achievement, equity, and a vibrant athletic culture that supports student development.

The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Over the summer the schedule changes to Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with Friday off.
