JEFFERSON COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY is excited to welcome an engaged and compassionate leader to champion our public service mission and values as Human Resources Manager in the People & Culture Department. People & Culture focuses on collaboration to provide exceptional support and resources to our libraries across the county through recognizing the value people bring to our community - patrons and team members alike. You will oversee all Human Resources (HR) components and assist with volunteer services programs for our libraries. This includes HR consultation to Library Management and employees in leadership positions, navigating the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) & Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Worker’s Compensation, FLSA, EEOC, and local and state regulatory issues. We’re eager to meet candidates with expertise on HR trends and employment laws/policies, that have served in a management role in a union environment, and that revere opportunities for growth, empowering employees, positive employee-management relations, cooperation, and a healthy work-life balance.

Description:

Hiring Range: $ 80,954.48 - $105,240.82 annually.
