- Assists in meetings and facilitates with department-level process improvement teams, grant-funded programs, and strategic initiative teams as set by the Planning and Grants Unit Manager and Office of Research, Planning, and Process Improvement Director.
- Serves as the primary monitor of project measures, collects data for outcome measures, monitors progress towards implementation of new processes, prepares planning documents as necessary for senior leaders and alerts appropriate staff when project milestones are due.
- Coordinates with stakeholders on grant reimbursements requests, invoices, and development and submission of required documents and reports; maintains tracking of grant funds.
- Provides technical assistance by tracking tasks and action items, writes reports, justify recommendations, and revise departmental policy as part of team projects.
- Provides administrative support to the Office of Research, Planning, and Process Improvement including scheduling meetings, producing minutes, meeting room set-up and supplies management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:One or more years as a Planner I with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay System;
ORFour or more years of experience in analysis, program or policy development, facilitation and coordination duties, budget/fiscal management, Probation and Parole or Corrections Case Management, clerical experience a the level of Lead Administrative Support Assistant or above, or experience closely related to the listed job functions.
(Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the listed qualifications at a rate of 30 credit hours for one year)
Some positions are eligible for a shift differential of $173.34 semi-monthly, which is provided to employees with shifts that begin on or between 12:00pm (noon) and 5:00am, and who work at a 24/7 worksite (i.e. institution, transition center, supervision center, or command center), or whose work requires regular visits to these locations. If selected for interview, eligibility may be discussed at that time with the hiring manager.
The Department of Corrections currently offers a guaranteed 1% pay increase for every two years of continuous service up to 20 years!
