Job Location: This position will be located at Aviation Classification Repair Activity Depot (AVCRAD) in Springfield, MO.

This is a supervisor-level position that is performed under the general supervision of the Specialized Trades Manager at AVCRAD, Springfield, MO specializing in areas such as: electrical; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); electronics; carpentry; concrete and masonry; welding; plumbing; and/or painting. Work assignments are either oral, in written form or PRIDEWeb database with work orders. Review of work is made thru spot checks. Accomplishes work assignments at his locations with minimum of supervision. Work involves responsibility for performing skilled electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and concrete finishing tasks in accordance with standard practices of the respective trades. Work is performed independently subject to inspection by a designated superior while in progress and upon completion. Exercise considerable independence in the performance of responsibilities, technical supervision is received from Specialized Trades Manager. Employee supervision includes hire recommendations, training, planning and assigning work, performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline. Supervision at this level also requires these employees to have the knowledge and skills to perform and review the work overseen. Directs, inspects and supervises the work of all skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled employees engaged in building and grounds maintenance and repair work within employee’s assigned area.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 or more years of semi-skilled or higher level experience in specializing in areas such as: electrical; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); electronics; carpentry; concrete and masonry; welding; plumbing; and/or painting.

• 1-2 years Supervisory Experience

• Valid State Driver’s License

• Be able to pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Graduate

• Basic computer knowledge

• Trade school Graduate

Salary:

$56,400.00-$60,261.12 per Year
