Position Description

The Fresno County Department of Social Services invites applications for the position of Social Services Information Technology Manager.

The Social Services Information Technology Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of information technology programs, policies, and procedures within the Information Services division. Activities include: product and service delivery; infrastructure and operations; information security, compliance, and risk mitigation; and strategy, governance, and planning.

Minimum Qualifications

Education : Possession of a bachelor's degree that is acceptable within the United States' accredited college or university system in Business or Public Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.

Experience : Three (3) years of full-time, paid work experience consisting of technical information systems duties and responsibilities, at least two (2) years of which must have been gained in a lead capacity which included assigning, reviewing and coordinating the work of staff in a full-service, information technology facility.

Substitution : Additional full-time, paid work experience equivalent to that gained as an Information Technology Analyst, Network Systems Engineer, Supervising Information Technology Specialist or Business Systems Analyst with the County of Fresno may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

License : Possession of a valid Class "C" driver's license, or equivalent.
