Job Location: This position will be located at CBM New Prospects Office Comm. Operations 2600 E. 12 th Street Kansas City, MO 64127

This is a mid-level professional position assisting in overseeing a wide range of DBH programs and collaboration with community constituents. Daily tasks involve interfacing with community-based contracted agencies who provide services for mental illness and substance use disorders and other community stakeholders. You will be surrounded by skilled supervisors and co-workers for consultation and guidance in performing daily duties. There is opportunity to work in a variety of settings, i.e. home, office and community, and will be equipped with technology, equipment and supervision to be successful.



Minimum Qualifications:

You must meet State of Missouri Minimum Qualifications for a Program Specialist.

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; and two or more years of professional experience in treatment, case management, abuse/neglect investigation, or preventive services for persons with mental illness or developmental disabilities, substance use disorder, or inmate offenders; or related experience that primarily involved programs or services for these populations and afforded a knowledge of their special needs

• A combination of education from an accredited college or university and experience may substitute for the stated qualifications

• Possession of a valid vehicle operator’s license and means of transportation; ability to travel, including overnight stays
