An Administrative Services Coordinator job is available with The City of Fort Worth Water Department / Water Customer Relations. This position will serve as the lead Human Resource Coordinator and supervise administration staff. The ideal candidate will provide high-level support to the Customer Relations Division including performing administrative, budgetary, human resources, and special project activities for the division.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public administration, business administration, human resources or related field.
- Four (4) years of increasingly responsible administrative and operational experience in support of a department, division or major service area, including one (1) year in a supervisory or lead capacity.
Preferred Qualifications: - Two (2) years’ experience with medical records, FMLA and ADA, and workers compensation claims.
- Five (5) years of increasingly responsible administrative and fiscal experience role.
- Experience with ERP Human Capital Management and Financials.
- Intermediate to advance skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience working for a municipal or local government entity.
The Administrative Services Coordinator job responsibilities include: - Oversee the Human Resources Coordinator functions for Customer Relations.
- Work with management staff and partner with Human Resources Department to ensure proper processes are adhered to for hiring, terminations, disciplinary actions and Family Medical Leave.
- Ensure appropriate records are maintained, including medical records and human resource records.
- Oversee and assist with all payroll/timekeeping.
- Draft, review and finalize policies and update as necessary.
- Assist in the preparation and development of the division's annual budget process; monitors expenditures, as needed; ensures adherence to department/division budgets.
- Research and analyze the accuracy of monthly expenditures and create journal entries as needed.
- Prepare monthly reports, research, interpret and analyze data collected and make recommendations as needed.
