ABOUT THE POSITION

The Clark County Information Technology Department is seeking a dynamic and experienced Information Technology Manager to assist in leading innovation and driving digital transformation within our Digital Services organization. This role focuses on harnessing emerging technologies, including modern enterprise platforms, portals and websites, augmented intelligence (AI), workflow automation and productivity, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) enhancing operational efficiency and delivering cutting-edge solutions. As a key leader, you will assist in the development and execution of technology strategies that align with our vision, ensuring integration of digital services and modern technologies across the enterprise. The candidate will be part of the Digital Services Division and report to the Digital Services, Deputy CIO.

This examination will establish an Open Competitive Eligibility list to fill current and/or future vacancies that may occur within the next six (6) months or may be extended as needed by Human Resources.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a field related to the work AND five (5) years full-time experience in operating system design and development, acquisition, database or data communication development or similar information technology in a large, multi-processing environment, including two (2) years of supervisory/management experience. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Licensing/Certification: For Security Services: Certified Information Systems Security Professional or equivalent certifications.
Background Investigation: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation. Periodically after employment background investigations may be conducted.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
