Description

The MO HealthNet Division has an opening for a Director of Fiscal Policy Analytics and Innovation within the Finance Unit located in Cole County.

Semi-monthly salary: $4,897.70

Job Location: This position is located at the Howerton State Office Building; 615 Howerton Court, Jefferson City, MO.

The Department of Social Services partners with families and communities to protect children, rehabilitate youth and move families to self-sufficiency so that Missourians can lead safe, healthy and productive lives.

Why you’ll love this position: This is a vital position that will assist the Finance Director in fiscal policy implementation, budget analytics, and the oversight of the financial systems that supports the State’s Medicaid program for low-income Missourians. This position will directly engage and supervise the Budget, Rate Setting, Compliance, Financial Operations, Institutional Reimbursement, and Hospital Policy & Reimbursement units. This position will coordinate efforts between the Finance Administration unit and major project teams advancing Department and State goals.



Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Public or Business Administration, or a closely related field; and, four or more years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, purchasing, budgeting, fiscal management, or in general management with some fiscal responsibility. A combination of education and experience may substitute for the stated qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in state budgeting processes and health related insurance operations is preferred.

Training, certification, and/or education in continuous process improvement programs such as Lean Six Sigma as well as completion of Missouri Way, Leadership Academy, and similar programs is preferred.
