The
MO HealthNet Division has an opening for a
Business Systems Administrator (Program Coordinator) within the
Information Services Unit located in
Cole County.Semi-monthly salary: $3,602.28
Job Location: This position is located at the
Howerton State Office Building; 615 Howerton Court, Jefferson City, MO.

Why you’ll love this position: As the Business Systems Administrator, you will contribute to MO HealthNet’s mission to build a best-in-class Medicaid program that addresses the needs of Missouri’s most vulnerable population in a way that is financially sustainable. Specifically, this position leads the team responsible for systems updates and project implementations that keep the Medicaid program at its finest.
- Lead, motivate, and coach team members responsible for system updates and new program implementations.
- Identify, analyze, and recommend areas for process improvements to increase efficiency and performance.
- Monitor team performance metrics.
- Assist management with compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and guidance issued from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) related to healthcare initiatives.
- Ensure contractors adhere to contractual service level agreements.
- Participate in internal, statewide, and national workgroups.
- Establish relationships with internal and external partners, including technology vendors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Fiscal Agent Operations activities.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and 4-7 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
Preferred Qualifications: - Four or more years of professional experience preferably in Medicaid, social services, and/or healthcare.
- Ability to lead a team of professionals.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and creatively.
- Ability to think independently and use creative problem-solving strategies.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people, both orally and in writing
- Ability to self-organize and prioritize work in an ever-changing environment.
- Training, certification, and/or education in continuous process improvement programs such as Lean Six Sigma, The Missouri Way, Leadership Academy, and similar programs.
