SUMMARY: Under general supervision, a Senior Crew Leader (Refuse Truck Operator) operates a rear-end sanitation truck to provide commercial and residential solid waste sanitation services within the City; provides work direction to assigned laborers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent; AND one year of experience in sanitation route operations, including six months of lead work or supervisory experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION:


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed both in an indoor and outdoor work environment. May have exposure to dangerous machinery, extreme weather conditions, potential physical harm, hazardous chemicals and infectious diseases. May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds.

Compensation Range

$50,337-$75,506
